I’m a collage and digital artist based in St. Louis, a city I’m learning to see in new ways every day.
I’ve always been drawn to the things we pass by without thinking twice—the torn edge of a newspaper, an old photograph, a faded advertisement, a piece of print that has already lived a life before it reaches my hands. Collage gives me a way to hold onto those things for a little longer.
I work with print and media that feel increasingly fleeting in a world that is becoming more and more digital. Magazines disappear. Newspapers get thinner. Images that once filled our homes and streets are replaced by something new. I love taking these temporary pieces of culture and giving them another life.
My work is a collection of fragments—bits of the city, memories, color, faces, places, and things that catch my attention. I cut them apart, move them around, and put them back together until they feel like something of their own.
